Career & Internship Coaching

We offer a broad, flexible set of career development and job search services to help young adults achieve their professional, learning, and life goals that match their aspirations, talents, and vision. Young adults (students in high school or college as well as recent graduates) are guided step-by-step through the career development and job search process.

At the Tyree Institute, our job services are tailored to high school, GapYear, college/university students, and recent graduates.

We recognize that every young adult has particular interests and passions, and our mission is to help them weave career, learning, and life aspirations in purposeful and fulfilling ways using an inclusive and affirming approach.

Through our robust menu of services and offerings, young people will find the necessary resources to support their search for a job or internship.

We invite you to engage with your career, learning, and life in a new way.   We call this three-stranded approach Tri Cosain, based on a phrase in Irish Gaelic describing three paths – a weave together and exposure to three strands of inquiry.

The three integrated paths we propose are:

  • Helping you discover and bring to life a sense of personal inspiration
  • Providing you with high-quality advice and support for journeys of lifelong learning, including traditional academic paths but also innovative, modular learning options
  • Providing you with high-quality career advice: developing and executing elegant and inspired career strategies

Our careers services are led by Gerald Doyle, a member of the Wolcott College Prep faculty and former Vice Provost for Career Services & Student Access, Success, and Diversity Initiatives at Illinois Institute of Technology (2006-2018). He offers a broad, flexible set of career development/job search services to help college/university students and recent graduates achieve their professional, life, and learning goals that match their inspiration, talents, and vision for the life they seek to live and design for themselves.

Gerald co-founded Tri Cosain, a practice that weaves inspiration, learning, and career coaching for leadership in life and work, and is a co-author of 9 Questions for Leadership in Life and Work, Reflections on Career: A Workbook and Invitation to Explore and Conversations of Inquiry, among others.
