Monica Thiele earned a double BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach before going on to earn her MFA in Fiction. She began teaching English at her alma mater in Los Angeles before attending Loyola Marymount University to earn her Masters degree in Secondary Education. Monica has been teaching high school English since 2013 and is passionate about discussing literature with her students; as she likes to say, literature is the study of what it means to be human! She is always in the middle of at least one book and is always looking to add to her “to be read” list.
