Mackenzie Pryor received bachelors degrees in Wildlife Biology and Anthropology from the University of Georgia. She attended Texas A&M University, where she earned her Master’s degree in Biological Anthropology focusing on nonhuman primates. Mackenzie has conducted nonhuman primate behavioral research in Indonesia and Peru, where she was able to live in the field and study monkeys in the wild. While in graduate school, Mackenzie taught Anthropology to first-year students and completely fell in love with teaching.
In her free time, Mackenzie loves to travel (especially to tropical areas with diverse wildlife), learn more about native wildlife through nature walks and hikes, go to the zoo, and garden.
