Miriam Pike is proud to serve as Wolcott’s Founding Head of School. She previously held the position of Special Education Department Chair at Deerfield High School in Deerfield, Illinois, where she worked with staff members, students, and their families for over 20 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University, a master’s degree in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University, and a PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University. Her dissertation was entitled ‘Achievement Goals and Academic Success for Secondary Students With and Without Learning Disabilities’. In her precious free time, Dr. Pike enjoys classical music, dance, and spending time with family.
