Carrie Joy is proud and honored to be part of the Wolcott community. Through her work in schools and in private practice, Carrie Joy most enjoys directly supporting students with their social and academic needs and strives to help students recognize their talents and meet their full potential. She specializes in the areas of executive functioning and written language and has experience teaching all academic subjects. Carrie Joy takes great pride in her positive connections with students and in collaboration with families. She is looking forward to teaching Learning Strategies and to leading the Academic Coaching program. 

Carrie Joy is an endurance athlete and competes in triathlons and distance races all year round. She leads group marathon training and has experience coaching Track & Field and Cross Country. Carrie Joy is a lead volunteer for PAWS Chicago and has two rescue dogs of her own. Her daughter, Charlie, is a proud member of the Wolcott Wolf Pups.
