Academic Coaching
Much more than a study hall, Academic Coaching provides a relaxed yet purposeful environment where students can tackle assignments with real-time support from teachers. Any confusion turns into clarity, and external tutoring becomes unnecessary—students finish their day feeling confident and prepared.
Led by Wolcott faculty representing every department, Academic Coaching runs Monday through Thursday from 3:30–5:00 p.m. and is included with tuition. Students can drop in voluntarily or attend by teacher recommendation. Each session offers access to subject-specific expertise.
Some students use the time to get ahead on homework or prepare for assessments. Others attend to reinforce key concepts, organize materials, or build executive functioning skills. In every case, Academic Coaching gives students the space and structure to feel confident in their understanding before heading home.
Together with our Learning Strategies program, Academic Coaching reflects Wolcott’s strengths-based, student-centered philosophy—empowering students to take ownership of their learning and develop the habits that lead to lasting academic success.
